Advancing Visual Industrial AI Analytics for Upstream Energy with Spotfire® and Enertel

What is being announced today?

Spotfire has acquired Enertel Holdings, LLC (Enertel), a leading provider of upstream energy analytics and a long-standing Spotfire partner. Through this acquisition, Spotfire® will bring Enertel’s industry-specific workflows, including automated well forecasting, type curves, well-spacing analytics, and asset valuation, natively into Spotfire® Industry Pro.

This acquisition reinforces Spotfire’s strategy to deliver a single visual industrial analytics solution with deeper industry expertise and workflows built for complex operational decisions. By combining Spotfire’s analytics, AI, and data capabilities with Enertel’s upstream domain knowledge, Spotfire Industry Pro will enable energy organizations to move from fragmented analysis to faster, more confident development and asset decisions.

Instead of building complex models from scratch, users can now immediately leverage native, industry-standard frameworks for advanced forecasting and multi-scenario economic valuations.

 

Integrating Enertel’s solutions natively enables Spotfire Industry Pro to deliver:

  • Automated Forecasting Engine: Rapidly generate decline curves for thousands of wells with AI-driven, multi-segment modeling.
  • Probabilistic Type Curves: Standardize workflows in compliance with SPEE guidelines.
